Shortly earlier 8:30 a.m., according to the Highway Patrol, a motorcycle traveling westbound connected Atlantic Boulevard struck a sedan turning near from Joeandy Road to eastbound Atlantic Boulevard. Troopers said the antheral driving the motorcycle was thrown from the motorcycle and struck an SUV.
Troopers said the motorcyclist died astatine the scene. His property was not instantly released.
The operator of the sedan, a 57-year-old Jacksonville woman, was transported to a infirmary with superior injuries, according to troopers.
