FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – A Chicago pistillate falsely claimed a weaponry was connected a level astatine a South Florida airdrome aft missing her flight, authorities said.

The 46-year-old pistillate was arrested Monday nighttime astatine Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and charged with falsely reporting a bomb, explosive oregon limb of wide destruction, according to a Broward Sheriff's Office quality release.

Airline employees told responding deputies that the pistillate had stated that a weaponry was successful her checked-in luggage that was aboard a plane, officials said. She made the assertion aft workers told her that she and her enactment had arrived excessively precocious to committee the plane, detectives said.

The level was already taxiing retired to the runway but had not taken disconnected erstwhile it was rerouted. Passengers were evacuated, and the level was searched. No explosives were found, officials said.
